Windows XP Dialup Configuration

Below, is a step by step tutorial, to setup a dialup connection for Windows XP

First Click on Start >> Settings >> Control Panel >> and open the Network Connections applet

1. Start the New Connection Wizard, and click "next"
2. Click Connect to the Internet, and then click Next
3. click Set up my connection manually and then click Next.
4. click Connect using a dial-up modem, and then click Next
5. Enter "lobo.net" in the space labeled "Type the name of your ISP in the following box", and then click Next
6. Enter the access number for the account, and then click Next
7. Enter your username and password in the appropriate boxes, you will need to type the password twice, and then click Next
8. The connection wizard will confirm the setup. If you wish, you may check the box to: "Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop"
9. Your are finished! If you checked the box in the step above, you should have a new icon on your desktop that looks like this (only smaller).
